Privacy policy

RatioStep calculates on your device. The app does not send your calculation inputs or saved preferences to the developer.

Data in the app

The app has no account system, advertising, tracking SDK, or analytics SDK. You do not need to provide personal information to use the calculator.

Your current calculation inputs are held in the app's memory. Clear all removes those inputs. The app does not maintain a calculation history.

The app saves your language, decimal precision, proportion type, and grid layout in local device preferences. These preferences may be included in backups managed by your device settings. Deleting the app removes its local preferences, although a device backup may retain a copy.

Clipboard

The app reads clipboard text when you choose Paste and writes an answer when you choose Copy or tap the answer. It checks whether text is available so it can enable Paste. Clipboard content is not sent to the developer. Your device's clipboard and sharing settings control whether copied text is available elsewhere.

Support email

If you email the developer, your email address, message, and any attachments are used to respond to your request. Please avoid sending sensitive information. Email providers process the message as part of delivering and storing it.

Support correspondence is kept only as needed to handle the request and meet applicable legal obligations. You can request access, correction, or deletion by emailing [email protected]. The developer does not sell your support information or use it for advertising.

This website and external services

Opening a support or privacy link leaves the calculator and opens a web page. Cloudflare hosts these pages and processes connection information, such as IP addresses and request details, to deliver and protect the site. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for its practices.

These support and privacy pages do not include advertising or analytics scripts. Other pages on this website may have their own features and local preferences.

Apple handles App Store downloads, purchases when applicable, and device services under Apple's privacy policy. Any diagnostics you choose to share through Apple are governed by your device settings and Apple's terms.

Your choices

Use Clear all to remove the current calculation. Change saved preferences in Settings, or delete the app to remove local app data. Manage device backups and diagnostics in iOS Settings. Contact the developer for requests about support correspondence. You may also contact your local data protection authority about a privacy concern.

Changes to this policy

This page will be updated if the app's data practices change. The effective date above identifies the current policy.
